I discovered my love for art when I was a very little girl by copying cartoons from the funny papers. I would draw on anything handy and it seemed that a lot of my work as a young person was done with pencil or pastels on paper bags, I do not know why, they were just handy.  I knew deep in my soul  that art was my calling. Painting and drawing give me a feeling of connectedness to something universal and spiritual. Not until after I retired have I had the time and energy to paint and it has been an exciting time for me.
