Where is my painting?

I had just finished painting for the day and took a picture. When I looked at the screen, I could not find it. HA!

The General's Potty

"I love this painting!  I own this painting! Diana paints the truth...there is such a place, General and the "privacy" still stands in such a woods. Life is good."

Abstract Plein Air

Often when we paint plein air we have to paint quickly to capture the image before the light changes too much. This calls for a simplification of the subject to its basic elements, also known as abstraction.

Paper Dolls at the Beach

acrylic, 10 x 30I had my family pose in their bathing suits. This was easy, as long as I did not put in their bodies. Most of it was done on location and finished in my studio.

Hi Judy- I am an artist working in Peekskill who remembers you fondly as the person who spearheaded the Valley Artists Association. Many of us who were members are now folded in to the Peekskill Arts Council. I had a studio on South Street but have moved to a studio in an old Hat Factory which has been converted into office and studio space. Currently there are 4 artists occupying the space. In any case, I'm so glad to know that you have joined Plein Air Artists. Let me know what's been happening with you.

Hi Judith,
It's amazing how many of our plein air folks in North Georgia have joined tonight. It's great to see you here.

Of course I know Sue Basile. Her daughter Michel is married to my best friend's son. It's certainly a small world! I'm delighted to know you are 'painting up a storm' and look forward to seeing your web site....and have a great time with Sue at the Chesapeke Bay.

Judith... You've also got a great color sense & style.. I've been a frequent traveller to India & Asia since 1970. So a lot of my work is from there. But I also teach in Wyoming, Ohio, and Florida from time to time. But I travel extensively and so I try to work on whatever... wherever!

Hi Judy!!! I just viewed some new and some familiar images of yours. Many in locations where I was with you ... ahhh, how wonderful! Most of my work now is not plein air but I need to keep a toe in the plein air pool. Being part of this site will be good for me. I miss you.
