I'm a self taught artist, I began painting in college, where I studied theater arts. it was there I fell in love with painting, the expression of the soul.
Painting to me, exposes my inner feelings and emotions, leaving it vulnerable, for the world to judge.
I'm primarily a water-colorist, but also enjoy the mediums of oil and acrylic.
Painting lets me escape, becoming free to express myself with color, texture and light. I can enter a world where I create my own mood and state of being.
Painting has been a life long friend to me. It has carried me through times of turmoil and times of joy.
The yearning I feel in my soul to 'create' comes alive in my art. To create is to live.
To live in the passion of life. To explode on canvas the emotions that your soul creates from the love of life.
