It was a "tale of two days", today, for our paint out in Courtown Harbour. The morning looked a little threatening, and, sure enough, by lunchtime we were racing for cover as the heavens opened!!The afternoon however saw some brightness on the horizon, and the sun came out to warm us!

I believe a few nerves were present this morning, and some very tense body language, as SEPA gathered for our pre- festival "Mystery Paintout". There was nothing to be worried about really, we didn't have plein air bungy jump painting..or plein air while water…

Thanks for the wonderful comment. I live on an island so I see a lot of water ( just like the island of Ireland right?) I was lucky in getting the right colors, capturing the light under the boat, and being somewhat slapdash about the reflecting light off the waves. You know how it is... some work out great... other, well....

I am far too slow and the main reason is I spend more time scraping off and repainting and need to work towards being able to get the right value,colour, temp, intensity in the first brushstroke.
