Throughout her career, Linda has promoted art education through her workshops and volunteer activities. Linda is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Pastel Society of the West Coast and as program Director of Pioneer Arts. She is a active member of the California Art Club and Nevada County Plein Air Painters.

Her ongoing studies include workshops with some of the finest Plein Air Painters: Jim Wilcox, Ray Roberts, Kathleen Dunphy, and Richard McKinley.

"If painting in Oils just wait until your painting dries then just flick them off. If you try to remove them while your painting is wet you take the chance of messing up a good passage. Same advise goes to if you drop your painting and get dirt…"
