Chynoweth Avenue; the covers of these magazines: Ormond
Magazine; Amistad an international magazine; two SEE St.

and the SEE St. Augustine hotel books included a full column

This international artist has relocated numerous times in the
past twenty-nine years; both in this country and out; with her

and participated in group benefit art exhibitions. She was a
co-founding member and promoted the art group REFLECTIONISTS.
Margé studied with Ted Vassar, Robert Burridge, Art Renshaw,
Larry Morace and Larry Moore. Her award winning paintings may
be found in private collections in both the USA and in other

leaving its confines because the complexity of working en plein
air, under adverse conditions and its ever changing light has
improved her skills, while expanding her vision. She
participates in invitational paint out events. The last one
was A Brush with Nature; Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens
Paint Out April 7-9; 2011.
She is affiliated with or has exhibited with numerous art
organizations: American mpressionists Society; National

Coast Plein Air and by The Metropolitan Art Gallery in Ormond
Beach, FL. Margé resides in Ormond By The Sea, FL
Artist’s Statement
All sense of time is suspended for me while I am painting
natures beautiful bounty. My paintings often reflect the soft
tranquility that I feel while I paint. I am fascinated by the
challenges that nature presents with its ever changing light
and moods. My heart fills with joy when I come close to
expressing with paint what I feel and what I see. My hope is
that the very quiet softness that I feel whenever I am painting
will bathe the viewer in its calming voice.

Marge Drew said… Cecile Hines, Thank you for the welcome and for saying that maybe my portrait done en plein air under adverse conditions may meet the criteria of plein air. I guess though that I will honor the letter of the rule and not post it here. I am still struggling to learn how to do things in here..and sometimes delete without thinking about it.. I have always deleted my wall in FB at end of day..figure people already saw what was there.
Robert Rohrich..that was so nice of you to look forward to seeing my work in here. I will take some time shortly to view art in here.. I am sure you have done new things that I have not seen yet. So I am looking forward to a bit of time to look around in here and at your works too!
