"Thanks Ed. Actually, I've done some editing on this one to push the background back a little more and increased the light on the trees in the foreground (and warmed the light a bit too to pull the foreground forward). I will upload the edited…"
"I finished my studio version of this painting and will post it on Artistes de Studio soon, along with some other Adirondack trip studio works. I went to the Publisher's Invitational Adirondack Paint Out in June and had a blast with 54 other…"
Hey Rick, I haven't talked to you in a while. I would love to paint with you sometime if you come down here. I have plein air social network now for the past couple of years www.charlottepleinairpainters.com I also did a lot of painting up at Roan Mountain at the NC TN border in June I posted some photos on my blog http://scottboyle.blogspot.com/
You would like it up there it is such a beautiful place.
Luke is such a great Artist and a great Man. I am so grateful to get to know him during the last 8 years or so.
It is my desire to go up to Indiana and do some painting but I am right in the thick of things, 5 kids starting college and working two jobs and all that.
Thank Rick for taking a look at my work. I was just looked through you fine work, love those village scenes. I have only ben doing plein air for about a year and I want to try one of those paint-outs but I don't hear to much about them. I was registered here in Marietta for one and they canceled it—I guess you might have to travel around.
Hi Rick-I just join this site and glad to find you here. I love your work so much and will have to visit your gallery very soon. As you know I am a novice but do appreciate the knowledge and inspiration I've already garnished from this site. The friends group is that through facebook or this site? If it does not involve facebook I would like to become one if that is ok with you. Thanks so much and I hope your mother and wife are doing well. Joan MacDermid
