- Hi, Ruth. Yes, the weather's usually pretty good here in SoCal. I get out to paint at least once a week if only to teach my Saturday morning workshops. I've also been lucky enough to travel to several different states in the past couple of years for painting competitions, shows, and teaching gigs.
