Last year was a banner year for me despite the economy.  I won the silver award for "Plein Air Rockies 2011" held in Estes Park, Colorado.  Oh the pleasure of sitting at 12,000 feet painting above treeline.  Such beautiful inspirational days in the clear air and sunshine!
