Time frames for plein air work.
When I work outside, I work ( as most of the members do) with weather, time constraints, onlookers, bugs, changing light etc. and try to get a credible representation of the scene in front of me. Some of my work outside may look more polished than others pieces I have posted. The reason is because I am able to get back to the same spot at the same time and with weather conditions being similar, am able to layer in more detail. Time out for Camp!
Painting red-heads for the exhibit had been the focus of my painting recently. But it was time for winter camp!
