Greg Long picked Suzie and I up at the airport in Dublin on the 20th of July and put up with us for about 5 days in his home with his lovely wife Christine and son Eoin, who is a scholar in Irish History. He is also a poet. When we returned to Greg's home the night before leaving Ireland to head home, Eoin presented me with this poem he wrote for us. There was a featured article about me and my National Park paintings in the Suwanee/Sugar Hill/Buford Neighborhood News July issue. It described and pictured some of the paintings, linking it to the "Sea to Shining Sea" theme for 4th of July. I just returned from the Grand Canyon, another spectacular, inspiring spot.

Well guys and gals its all over for the fourth year of our Plein-air Painting festival here in Wexford. The Craic was only mighty I can tell you!!
We started our pre festival paint-outs on Tuesday the 26th of July and continued right through till yesterday, what a BUZZ! You would have to be here to believe the vibrancy and diversity of the whole event.
