Wow what one year can do to a gal!

I see from my first blog post Dec 4 2009 that it has only been one year since I was sleepless in Spokane with the sheer excitement of finding out about all you plein air painters! PAing late Sept/Oct on Lake Roosevelt

Well, we just barely got a taste for all the PA opps available to us here in the Lake Roosevelt area last October. Gregg Caudell's place is up a river valley off the famous great Columbia River, which is an endless boating PA adventure in itself. PA with Don Maier and Suzie Majikol-Maier

PAing with Don Maier, Suzie Majikol-Maier and Gregg Caudell was heavenly. We spent a couple of weeks trying to paint as much of this beautiful area as possible! The arroyos, river vistas, old farms and cars, towns, the ferry crossing etc. are fabulously inspiring. The fall weather and colors were accommodating and we did our best to take advantage.
