At the Dunes


Did this last Saturday at the Waukegan, IL beach. It was a new experience for me since I have never been there before. Funny how things are right there under your nose and you don't see them. This beach is well hidden from the public and I guess there has been some environmental issues with the area, so Waukegan is starting to revitalize it and clean it up. Nice day to plein air. Let me know what you think. This is a 9 x 12 gouache on smooth vellum.
