Chi Le,a native of Vietnam,came to USA with her family
at the end of the war.She graduated with a Master of
Fine Arts from California State University of Long Beach.
Because Le spent a large part of her early years in the countryside of Vietnam.She grew to respect and love the natural beauty of the landscapes.Her father always took
his favorite little girl with him in his Novels'selling
journeys,up the Hight Mountain Town and along Mekong
River Villages.She thrilled and admired,then wondered
" How God give me the sun light?" when she just sitting
next to her father as he drive his old jeep or sailing
along the river.
Now that Le has become an artist,she love natures,sun
light deeper,so she choose to be an Plein Air artist.
Le captures the element of senses and situations with
her fresh and pure strokes of color.
Her works explode with story teller ,romance somewhat
buoyancy that reflects her bi-cultural existence.
According to Le,"Life happens outside your door"
It must be recorded by an artist loveing'hand.
And Pleinair is her medium of choice.
