An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location
In the high country of upper Kittitas County in Washington state the fall colors are a feast for the eyes.
For the past four days I have been out sketching and photographing rather than painting partly because of the frequent rain showers and partly because I recently received a copy of Darrell Anderson's book Value Sketching With Markers.(www.darrellanderson.blogspot.com) When the sun pops out the fall colors look especially brilliant.
Hope you enjoy these photos.
This is the view from the bridge over the Cle Elum River en route to Cooper Lake.
Yesterday Karen Watland went with me to sketch and take photos. En route to the lake we made several stops. At one stop Karen spied this tiny frog.
