I worked some more on the little studies I did a few months ago, I think they're finished now. Paintings take 'time' to mature. Sometimes months go by until you get the answer, like a seed germinating. Every process of creation has a gestation period.

This one needs to be portrait, not landscape, but I'm happy with the colours: orange, green, purple, the secondaries.

The red at the bottom is burnt sienna on a pink ground (earth orange).
