On Saturday, we met at Dry Falls to paint. Windy and gusty, but beautiful light and skies.
Lynne Haines, Greg Caudell, me (June Shull), Kathryn Townsend. Also joining in were Loretta West, Ginger Stogdell, and Pam (a friend of Lynne's).

This is down in the recreational area below Dry Falls. There are well kept campgrounds just down from the main road. The view was good in almost every direction.

A spot where we met and painted. The wind was really gusty here.

Ginger taking photos. The light was flatter on Sunday, and the values were hard to work out.

This was my 2nd painting. I ended up painting it out.

This is a quick underpainting. My acrylics dried fast in the wind. When I tried to pick up more of the paint mixtures on my bursh, they were already dry. So I will work on this one in the "studio".
I hope this paint out becomes a regular or yearly event! Thanks Lynne and Tim!
