PLein Aire Bartow Florida Event a huge success!

40 or more artists showed up to paint over the 3 days of painting in Historic Bartow, Florida. and by all accounts it was fun and productive, and for some a new and mind blowing experience of getting out doors to paint. We welcomed artists of all levels, we just want to turn on as many painters as possible to the fun, beautiful, eye opening, and challenging experience of Plein Aire. Our numbers in the area are growing because of this event and it is so gratifying to see! Awards went to the most accomplished artists, of course, but it is just incentive for the others to work at it...which we will do all winter here!!!! If you are in the area, contact me, we will have painting dates posted all winter, here in Western Polk Co., and a group in Eastern Polk will be posting events as Ridge Plein Aire Painters on the Florida Plein Air web site...check us out if you are this way for winter...lots of water birds, gators etc....Looking for where to post Pic's of the event?
