Too busy to paint right now

Here is a personal note, to myself: I am a grandmother of seven, five of whom live across the street. Weekends are packed. In addition, volunteering commitments are at least seventeen hours a week. I try to go to an art class twice a month. Seven years ago I was asked to do a one-woman gallery show, which I did, and made money from, so I know some people like my art. I do still-life at home when possible. I am sorry to not be more organized and that I am not more disciplined. The problem is, I love my life and every part of it is my favorite part. Some day, I hope to have time to paint outdoors on a regular basis. In the meantime, thanks for being here as a reminder that there are many besides me who LOVE to paint outdoors. Portrait photo and art work to come . . . after Christmas.
