An Online Artist's Coop for Artists who Paint on Location

Lovely Little Place You Have Here!

One of my favorite things to paint are old buildings. In some parts of the world, old buildings would be hundreds of years old. In California, a building is old if it is past World War 2. And that's when these trailer parks were created.

I love going into trailer parks. There are alot of trailer parks in Southern California. Some are meticulously kept up, some are scary. I prefer the ones that have been neatly kept up.

Why do I like Painting these old Trailers?

The old trailers are charming. They have real wood inside of them and are such neat little cozy cubby holes. There was a time when my children were very young that we lived in a trailer. And we had a tent trailer for awhile too and that was really comfortable. I can relate!

You are sooo right Diane. Charming is an excellent word. Terry

For the same reason I love my Mother In Laws trailer in Florida. They are so "campy" or cozy or crazy! Just glorified Teepees really, chuckle. With all the amenities and not too much to take care of because they are so small and cute. Nice job on this one. Let's see more!

Hi, I lived in one 60 years ago, in southern California. Bet is isn't there any more. I thought it was great.
