Vol au Vent

I've been back every day to this spot to try and catch the light on the fields and the shadows on the hills..but they move so fast and the drawing is tricky..I go straight in drawing with my big long brush. I took my two sketches I did in the morning and together with a photograph did this...I've not painted like this before but I feel it's what I'm aiming at: tone and limited palette. There's still more work to be done.
