The Western North Carolina Plein Air Painters are having a one day paint out in Hot Springs, NC on Monday, September 28. We plan to meet at 9:00 a.m. at the store of the camp ground which is on the left just over the river bridge, once you get to the Hot Springs area. If you come to the railroad track you have gone too far. If you are in the area and would like to join us, come on over!

I am going to try to get there for that. Oct 28th is my birthday. Is this paint out in a small town called Hot Springs?

Hot Springs is pretty darn small. That is why the directions are so vague. According to Linda Cheek who lives near by in Marshall, there is only one road in and out. I think the road is 70/25. I think Hot Spring's biggest claim to fame these days is that it is a popular stop for hikers on the Appalachian Trail.

I should have mentioned you should take your camping gear and spend the night there since we are meeting at the camp ground.
