Hi Jennifer,
Your painting of orange slices brightens our kitchen! Very vibrant and cheery. I'm heading back up to Stehekin tomorrow to do some more painting.

Hi Jen - The more I look at your abstract - the more I like it...don't mess with it for awhile! That was a really fun afternoon!

Hi! It's fun to hear you describe your process. I can totally relate. That's what I love (and hate) the most about abstract. It's just you and the canvas - just looking. No other agendas. Sometimes I pester myself into thinking I shouldn't have to reconstruct so much - so I love hearing your process. That's what its about. "It ain't over till its over". Sometimes that's quite soon...other times its a long unfathomable journey.
Good morning Jennifer! Nope, no more gallery business for me. As far as traveling, I always taken a month a year to get a new vision of the world and reconnect with plein air. I like your new work. Al

Jennifer,
thanks for the comment. Somehow I hit the wrong button and lost the comment - oh well. . .
Your work is marvelous. Could I presume to say we may be going after the same things: great shapes and distinctive/beautiful brushwork?

Jennifer,
I can tell by your art and description that painting in Italy was memorable for you, too. I just joined and I am still feeling my way around this site.
I like your Montereggioni painting. I know that exact spot.
Happy Painting!

Congratulations on your featured artist status...I can clearly see why.
Wonderful works...each one is a delight to behold. Thanks
Jennifer, wish you would post a name or something on your pieces. the one you did at the Lopez pastel event is super good abstraction. so cool to see someone do this kind of work. exciting! keep it going!
Hi Greg - yes, I have names, medium, size etc. on most of them. Hmmm - are you looking at the slide show on the home page? Move your cursor down below the image and a menu bar comes up where you can click on the "i" to get information. Or go to my page and on the left you can click on the photos, then choose whichever and all the info should be there. Happy painting. Jennifer
You came to San Diego and didn't call me....sigh....o well, I will recover.
Next time if you are looking for some folks to paint with...send me a note.
i am mostly harmless. : ^ )
