I have only live in the southwest for five years, it's taken time to know the desert but I will. I just keep pushing the paint.

Thanks for the compliment, but you'll have to blame my husband of 33 years for the Flaherty part, I'm mostly German with a good dose of English.
Is there a place I can post a link to my website: www.threetetonsstudio.com?
Thanks for this site. Carole

Hi Donald,
So sorry I´ve been very busy here and after I joined, just now I had a time to come back here and saw your posts. Trying to find my way around to post my introductory text and all.
So, your wwife is Brazilian. Where is she from?

Hi Don, Thanks for your comments. I have a better version of my picture somewhere, just have to find it. I do know Shelley Grund, but only as an online WetCanvas friend, never met her in person. Thanks for this site.

I'm from Western NY. The blue body of water in the photo is the Niagara River.
Where are you located? How did you get my email address? Just curious.

Not yet, I'm working on it, I'm pretty PC illiterate so I need help with this stuff.

Thanks for the welcome Don. I only know Larry Seiler from Wet Canvas. I believe he is from Wisconsin - but that would make us "neighbors" I think!

Hi Donald, Don't know whether you saw my question on the discussion board so I'll ask you directly here. How do I bring my Badge into my Facebook profile and pages? I thought I was uploading it but instead it brought in my photo and announced that I had joined the pleinairartists.

Hi Don,
I'm still on a dial up connection, so I will have to wait until I have more time before posting any of my paintings. Takes forever to do anything with dial up. I really love this site, there's so many fantastic plein air painters. I can see I have lots of surfing to do. I'm also looking forward to joining in on some of the discussions. I do belong to a plein air group, but haven't had time to paint in quite some time. I miss the comradery and was excited to find this site.
Take care,
Barb Kladzyk

I just got back last Friday from Peru. Machu Picchu, of course, and other Inca ruins. Wonderful trip. This was also a Sketch trip because of all the things one has to see and do. Not conducive to plein air in depth painting.
