Thanks! I've just got to line up some babysitters and I'm on my way....! I will register just as soon as I have solid plans with my family. Could really use the getaway. Talk soon!

Hi June! I had the greatest time painting over in Cle Elum and it was so nice to meet you! I wish we had been able to paint together more. Anyway it was a pleasure meeting you and all the nice people at the Carpenter House Museum. I hope we can paint again soon!

I look forward to painting again as well! I put out a lot of failure paintings - and by the looks of your art online I'd say you should have been the one giving tips to me! You have truly nice art work. I'm anxious to see what you paint here at my farm. Till then!

Hi June, I'm having trip in northern California and the south of France so as you will see I've been painting some and will attempt to post some more on my way...thanks for your comments re my work some time ago..ben
The truth is, Mr.Reese did offer to give me some advice on this site. I was rather in awe about it as I knew he had a book published. And I decided it would be unfair to waste his time if I could first get answers there, so I ordered the book and was in the process of reading it when he passed away. It is a sincere regret that I waited to do that before thanking him for his offer... carpe diem?
As to any improvement in my work, it is probably down to practice, mainly, and painting out with some good friends, but I'd like to think some of Bill Reese's words of wisdom have also played a part.
Having a great time in the south of france all be it a little hot, but no shortage of inspiration here...once again thanks for your generous comments...ben
June, Thanks. I was surprised it came out, as having a hundred people (or so it seemed) looking over your shoulder was a bit intimidating. Like your work, nice and loose and to the point...not easy to pull off, but you have. Lee

Hi June, Thanks for asking about workshops. Yes, I offer them now and again and recently had one in Delaware in the spring. Not sure if I'll teach in 2011 but will post on my website if I do - www.denisedumont.com

June, Thanks for your comments on my work. Love the spirit in your paintings. Your watercolors especially captivate me with the variety of color and shadows. How do you do that en plein air? amazing :-)
I've missed a lot of our Fresh Air Friday paint outs, but with hubby's health improving maybe this year will be better. Your paintings keep getting better and better! You are outclassing us all!
Hi Donald. I am not able to view any paintings other than those on the first page in the Artwork tab. Instead I am directed to the Sign In or Become a Member page. Do I have to sign in every time I just want to view paintings? Can those who are not members view them or do they need to join?
