Hi. My name is Karen Winslow, and I am an artist from Vermont. I studied at the Art Students League in NYC from 1973-1978, primarily with Frank Mason, and I also took his fabulous plein air workshop during the same time period in Vermont. Since 1979, I have been living in Vermont, selling my paintings through various galleries and raising 5 children. My husband, Jack, also studied with Frank, and we were both featured in American Artist magazine in 1991. We teach 3-5 Day plein air workshops in Cambridge/Jeffersonville, VT each summer and fall. Please visit our website: www.WinslowArtStudio.com for more information. In addition, I teach workshops for Lyme Art Association in Old Lyme, CT (www.lymeartassociation.org) and Southern Vermont Art Center in Manchester, VT (www.svac.org).
Maryanne and I were talking about you yesterday when we were paintings sunflowers at the Buttonwood Farm. It has acres and acres of sunflowers that they selll for Make A Wish Cancer. You would love it. When I finish the painting I will post it. You can see the farm online now at Google.
