I suggest you get involved with plein air artists colorado- (PAAC) it is a great group spearheaded by some very enthusiatic go getters- we are going to have a show at the abend gallery in denver in July- the deadline for the show is May 6 and you have to be apart of the group to be juried in- which only requires a a yearly fee- if that's too soon for you there are other events too. I show at Wild Spirit Gallery in Pagosa and the Link Gallery in Cheyenne, WY- they have a nice paintout in Aug. Thats a few ideas- do you have your work in Manitou or old Colorado City- there is going to be a juried plein air paintout in September in Colorado City that you might want to check out. I would go but am committed to the Mountain Arts festival- a plein air paintout in Salida at the same time- you might even want to try that. I am really rambling on here-- sorry. Susan

Ramon Kelley, George Carlson, Skip Whitcomb, Ned Jacob, and all those guys. Colorada has a great tradition in art. We basically taught each other to paint and draw. Always painting from life both indoors and outdoors.
