If you have not done so please consider joining the Art Challenge group as well.  I think it will be quite fun.  Your watercolours are lovely and I would like to see what you will do for the art challenge.  We have to paint at least 4 paintings of the same spot, simplifying them each time until we get an impressionistic rendition.  Please do go and have a look.  It seems like a lot of fun.

Thank you Cecile you are most kind.  I just paint and do not really think of what I am doing.  It sort of just bubbles up from inside as I paint.  Of course one uses the basic colours you see, but I usually start at the top and end at the bottom... one sitting.  Then I go home and fill in a few details once the painting is totally dry.

Thank you Cecile. I like your portret as well. There is much inspiring art to see on this blog. I like to make my postcards myself. Mostly in watercolor.

Oh thank you very much Cecile you've made my day! One is always questioning oneself..especially after seeing such professional work on this great site. I find it very inspiring, gets me going out there to paint on the spot!

Thank you Cecile for your kindly response. I have seen a lot of your work as well on the blog. I like the watercolours in particular the trees. I mostly need a clear sketch first but you make more real watercolours. splendid.
