Don, this is why I am one of your many fans! This is truly excellent art! You have taken the opportunity of your decreased mobility and turned it into this wonderful series of pastels. The subjects are handled with your amazing simple but articulate style. Making the shift from watercolors to pastel and landscapes to cityscapes seems effortless for you. True MAN ART at it's best.
Comment by Donald Maier on October 8, 2012 at 1:34pm It is comments like the one above that have helped me decide on the focus of my next show, which is scheduled for September of 2013 at Gallery 4463 in Acworth, GA.... These are all very small pieces. 1/16 sheet of Canson Pastel Paper... which comes out to about 6"x10". I have also some watercolors of this subject as well and to finish off the series, I intend to do a few large oils and pastels to create focal points for the show. It seems like plenty of time to refine this plan, but it goes quickly, so I must get busy. here is one of the watercolors:
